Dr. Shawana Johnson possesses twenty-two years of sales and marketing experience in the Hi-Tech Information and Data Industry with companies such as NCR, McDonnell Douglas, and General Electric. Most recently, she spent nine years with a company owned by Lockheed Martin Corp., Hughes Aircraft Corporation and Raytheon E-Systems called Space Imaging EOSAT, where she was the Executive Director of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. Space Imaging (originally EOSAT- The Earth Observation Satellite Company) was a Public/Private collaboration formed in 1984 by NASA and NOAA, Hughes Aircraft and General Electric to commercialize earth observation remotely sensed satellite technology. Dr. Johnson's main responsibility was to maintain this collaboration while developing the company into a stand-alone, commercial entity.
Her responsibilities included global sales and marketing communications strategic planning, developing and managing a global sales force and distribution in over 100 countries through distribution channels and electronically.
She developed, implemented and managed the Customer Service Center which serviced 6,000 clients and managed and supervised the planning and development of the On-Line Network system for external sales and marketing use by clients and prospects, as well as, developed the plan for the in-house, on-line system access for customer and product information.
Dr. Johnson reported directly to the President and Vice President and was responsible for the corporate sales and marketing presentations bimonthly, as well as the 5-year strategic plan, the yearly development and delivery of the corporate strategic sales and marketing plans with complete budget forecasts to the Board of Directors (comprised of executives from Lockheed Martin, Hughes Aircraft and Raytheon E-Systems).
Dr. Johnson received her Doctorate Degree in Management from Case Western Reserve University. The Weatherhead School of Management, Cleveland, Ohio where her specialty was Global Economics, Technology Transfer and Corporate Leadership. She is also on the Advisory Board of Directors for the Great Lakes Industrial Technology Council (GLITeC) which is funded by Batelle Corp. and is responsible for transferring and translating NASA technology into commercial services and products.
At Global Marketing Insights Inc., she serves as President to an executive client base in the Fortune 500 and several international organizations in Asia and Europe where her area of expertise includes providing consulting in strategic (consultative) sales and marketing, developing 3-5 year Strategic Sales and Marketing Plans, including the development of Strategic Plans for Public/Private collaboration within high-technology industries, and corporate technology spin-offs.
As a Christian and member of Parma Heights Baptist Church, Dr. Johnson is a member of the School of Ministry, Choir, and serves as a Director on many of the church community leadership campaigns.

Jackie Stavros possesses fifteen years of strategic planning, marketing, sales, international and training experience working with small-to-medium sized organizations. She has over six years experience in e-learning from course and curriculum design and development to implementation of totally on-line learning programs and environments. She also consults with companies on e-commerce and internet marketing strategies and tactics. She is currently researching and co-authoring a book, e-Secrets: The e-Learning Answer Book. Her industry work includes automotive, banking, computer software and hardware, education, healthcare, government and professional services. In all her positions, Jackie reported directly to the president and was responsible for strategic planning, marketing, sales, training, ISO 9000 and QS 9000 projects and international business development activities. She is a Senior Associate for Global Marketing Insights, Inc.
Jackie has spent the last six years incorporating Appreciative Inquiry methodologies into her training and consulting work. Appreciative Inquiry is the “art and practice of asking questions that strengthen a system’s capacity to apprehend, anticipate and heighten positive potential.” It builds upon the positive core of the organization. Jackie has been trained and mentored by the creator of this process Dr. David Cooperrider. She uses this process to work with individuals, teams, divisions and organizations to facilitate strategic change initiatives. She best works with executives, managers and an organization’s stakeholders to collaboratively and creatively help them get organized and focused for growth
Jackie worked for over seven years for the Michigan Small Business Development Center Network (MI-SBDC) in advising business owners. The MI-SBDC is a nonprofit organization created to provide new entrepreneurial start-ups, micro and small enterprises with the resources needed to help their businesses grow and prosper. Her experience with business owners included assisting clients in developing strategic business and marketing plans, evaluating financing alternative, accessing international markets, setting up operations and commercializing technologies.
Jackie’s extensive experience with MI-SBDC began at the Wayne State University SBDC as a marketing strategist. She became a certified business counselor while working at the Lansing Community College SBDC and helped start over 300 businesses, including two of her own, P.S. Innovations and Strategic Pathways, Inc.. She also assisted in the expansion of 56 local businesses. Jackie was asked to join the Michigan State University International Business Development Center (MI-IBDC) to run the state-wide export counseling and training programs. She assisted over 170 businesses on new product development and foreign market entry planning. She also set-up the Metro-International Business Development Center in Oakland County as an expansion of the MI-IBDC. Today, she still works with the MI-SBDC Network on special projects and training programs.
In addition to her industry experience, Jackie holds a faculty position at Lawrence Technological University where she teaches in both the traditional and Executive MBA program. She has taught at Madonna University, Walsh College, Michigan State University and Lansing Community College. Her responsibilities have included serving as the interim Director of Information Technology and Distance Learning Programs, developing undergraduate and graduate curricula, creating business development outreach and executive education programs in Appreciative Inquiry, strategic change and planning, globalization, leadership, quality certificate, marketing and management while also working with the business community to create internships and career opportunities for students. Her overseas marketing and sales experience includes extensive executive training in Japan, Taiwan and China. She has participated as keynote speaker at World Trade Week, Oakland County International Executive Roundtable, Michigan SBDC 10-Year Anniversary Leadership Retreat, President of the United State’s Virtual Trade Mission for Oakland and Wayne County Public Schools and other National Trade Associations.
She earned her Executive Doctorate in Management at Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. Her Dissertation topic was Capacity Building Using An Appreciative Approach: A Relational Process of Building Your Organization’s Future. The focus of the topic is building the “positive core” of an organization reminding you that an organization’s driving force is its people. Her dissertation has been cited in several published books in the appreciative inquiry field. She is a contributing editor of Appreciative Inquiry Handbook: A Constructive Approach to Organization Development and Change and TradeSecrets (Third Edition). Her M.B.A. in international business is from Michigan State University, Eli Broad School of Management and a B.A. degree in marketing from Wayne State University. She is also a certified international trade specialist from Thunderbird University, Phoenix, Arizona and NASDA. She achieved her Manufacturing Assessment Certification from Mid-Michigan Technology Council at Industrial Technology Institute, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Presently, Jackie is a member of the Michigan District Export Council (M-DEC), North American Association of Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE) and American Marketing Association (AMA). With M-DEC, she serves on the following committee: National Export Strategy and Marketing and Communications of United States Export Assistance Centers.

Barbara Good possesses more than twenty years of finance, economics, and strategic planning experience working with medium and large sized organizations. These organizations include banking and other financial institutions, manufacturing organizations, government entities, and professional services organizations. Prior to her move to providing consulting services, she reported directly to vice presidents and senior vice presidents and been responsible for developing and presenting information directly to the decision makers.
Most recently, Barbara worked for the Financial Services Research Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, housed in the Economics Research department. This group was funded by the Federal Reserve System and provided guidance on the future direction and strategic implications of the financial services offerings provided by the system. Barbara supported the Cash Fiscal Product office and ensured that economically and financially sound methodology was used for decision-making purposes. She helped to develop the criteria for closing operations at branches to reduce costs while preserving service levels to constituents. She published articles and working papers on economic topics and policy issues.
Barbaras doctoral research centered on emerging electronic payments, with an emphasis on the diffusion of new technologies, marketing strategies that would be required for the acceptance of these new payments technologies, and the policy implications that would need to be addressed. Considered an expert within the Federal Reserve System on these high-technology private money systems, she has spoken on the topic at forums, published a number of articles and working papers that address the issue, and conducted research on the marketing and technology aspects of these products.
Previous jobs have included experience as a Policy Coordinator, providing direction to management and financial institutions on current and emerging payments system risk issues including derivatives, private settlement services, and cross-border securities settlement. She also conducted special studies for the Executive Committee of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and assisted in setting up the framework for an integrated long-term planning system that would be used in conjunction with the strategic planning process of the institution. Barbara also coordinated the process and wrote the first strategic plan for the Bank.
Barbara, prior to her work at the Federal Reserve Bank, had provided consulting services in the areas of Strategic Planning and economic analysis for major U.S. corporations, with expertise in merger and acquisition analysis, economic forecasting, market analysis and shareholder value analysis. She won numerous sales and marketing awards.
She has taught at the graduate level on a part-time basis, primarily teaching Managerial Economics, Managerial Finance, and Corporate Social Responsibility. She is involved with a number of not-for-profit organizations, including the Operations Committee of the Northeast Ohio March of Dimes, the Access to Capital Task Group (cosponsored by COSE and the Greater Cleveland Growth Association), the University School Parents Association, and was a former President of the Cleveland Business Economists Club.

Susan Sinclair has over twenty years of marketing, sales, and business development experience in the high tech industries. She has worked with companies such as Lockheed Martin and Xerox Corporations. Most recently, she was with Oracle Corporation for just under three years as Practice Director for Global Business Development focusing on Oracle technology sales worldwide. She headed one of Oracles global marketing and business development groups tasked with penetrating targeted markets and establishing market leadership working with Oracle worldwide.
Additionally Ms. Sinclair sold Oracle solutions for eCommerce and CRM/Customer Relationship Management working with clients such as McDonalds Corporation, Wells Fargo Bank, and JDS Uniphase. In April 2001 she was interviewed and featured in the San Francisco Chronicle for her work in this area.
Prior to this, Ms. Sinclair was Managing Director for the Worldwide Distribution Network for Space Imaging EOSAT, a company owned by Lockheed Martin Corporation, Hughes Aircraft Corporation and Raytheon E-Systems. The objective was to maintain this collaboration while developing the company into a stand-alone commercial entity. She reported directly to Dr. Shawana Johnson, Executive Director of Worldwide Marketing and Sales and now President of Global Marketing Insights.
During this period she designed, built, and managed Space Imaging EOSATs global sales distribution network of over 200 companies. She traveled extensively to Asia, Europe, and Latin America during this period working extensively in China, Japan, and Vietnam as well as other areas.
Ms. Sinclair received her MBA from the University of Denver and her MA from New York University. She resided in Spain for ten years where she completed graduate studies and served at the US Embassy in Madrid. She speaks fluent Spanish and has studies in Japanese and Chinese. She has completed numerous courses in executive management at the University of Southern California and at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Ms. Sinclair has taught for over ten years at the University of California, Irvine on a part time basis. She has lectured on the marketing of professional and technical services, strategic sales partnering for technology companies, international business development, and eCommerce. She was presented with the Distinguished Instructor Award in 1998.
She serves on the Advisory Board at the University of California, Irvine for the Certificate Program for Marketing of Technical Services at University Extension; the Board of Directors for the World Trade Center of Los Angeles; and the Board of Directors for the California Asia Business Council of San Francisco. In addition, she sits on the ISO Committee on international standards for geospatial data and has represented the United States on multiple occasions as a member of the US delegation to International Standards Organization Plenary Meetings globally. .
Ms. Sinclair has lived in Newport Beach, California since 1983. She is an active member of Mariners Church in Irvine, California.

Pamela Ziss possesses over 30 years of training, consulting, managing and coaching experience working within the telecommunications industry. She has extensive background in Leadership Development, Communications, Performance Leadership and Customer Service.
Most recently, Pamela was instrumental in the design and delivery of a Performance Leadership System targeted at improving customer service and organizational results with a front line call center organization in the Midwest region.
Pamela has developed and delivered training workshops in Customer Service, Consultative Selling, Change Management, Problem Solving, Telephone Etiquette and Performance Leadership and Coaching across the country in industries such as Banking, Finance, Healthcare and Telecommunications.
Previous jobs have included front line sales, human resources, leadership development and customer relations. Pamela worked on the executive team during a major industry merger, to assure the new and existing customer base they would continue to have excellent service.
Pamela holds a Master of Communication and a Master of Business Administration.
She maintains involvement in the YWCA of Cleveland, the Case Western Reserve Alumni and Cleveland State Alumni organizations and is on the board of a family owned residential construction company. She is President of Chapter 2, a company focused on implementing Human Resource and Customer Systems.
She lives in Cleveland, Ohio with her husband Frank and her two Miniature Schnauzer puppies, Zoe and Zeke.
